Beth Jacob Trust Fund – Income from the Trust Fund helps defray expenses of running CBJ
Yahrzeit Fund – Donations to this fund, in response to Yahrzeit notices, go into the General Fund.
Ray & Milly Russo Cultural Heritage and Arts Fund – To sponsor an annual presentation or performance of the arts
Adeline & Reubin Winokur American Jewish History Prize Fund – Award given annually to two deserving students of our religious school who write the best essay on a subject related to American Jewish History – selected by the Rabbi.
Jacob & Minnie Kaplan NFTY Institute Fund – To encourage participation in NFTY Institutes by offering a scholarship to eligible members of our Temple Youth Group who are applying to attend their first regional institute
Estelle Pokross Sherman and Hyman Sherman Fund – For the preservation of the Beth Jacob Synagogue
Abraham and Sarah Sherman Fund – Devoted to the preservation and upkeep of the temple building
Weishaupt Stamp Fund – Used for repair or replacement of religious items belonging to CBJ
Rose Sherman Geller Fund for Jewish Family Life – To support Jewish traditions and enrichment at CBJ
Yahrzeit Memorial Plaques – Each plaque in our Synagogue sanctuary commemorates a loved one who has died. A plaque may be purchased by a CBJ member for $400. The money is placed in the Beth Jacob Trust Fund. Contact Rabbi Mills at cbjplymouthrabbi@gmail.com to order a plaque.
Tree of Life – A leaf may be purchased on our Tree of Life. Each leaf is $318. Anything within reason may be printed on it. The money is placed in our Tree of Life account and used for CBJ. Contact our Treasurer, Brad Engel at treasurer@cbjplymouth.org to order a leaf.
Rabbi Discretionary Fund – Rabbi’s discretionary fund to support special educational and charitable projects for our congregation and in its name.
