March 29, 2024

For the past several years, six reform temples located on the South Shore have been observing Erev Shabbat services together on the last Friday in March. This past Friday, CBJ hosted the 2024 South Shore Shabbat, along with five other reform congregations from the south shore. We were thrilled to welcome guest speaker Rabbi Josh Weinberg, Vice President, Israel and Reform Zionism and Executive Director, ARZA who inspired us all. Friday night’s service was led by an esteemed group of Rabbis and cantors, followed by a delicious Oneg.  We thank our sisterhood for supplying a beautiful assortment of desserts. A special thank you to Rabbi Mills for bringing this event to Plymouth. Thank you to the congregations that joined us: Temple Beth David of the South Shore, Canton, Temple Chayai Shalom, Easton, Congregation Sha’aray Shalom, Hingham, Temple Sinai, Sharon and Temple Beth David, Westwood.
