October is Breast and Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month!
Join your Congregation Beth Jacob family at 7 pm for our inaugural participation in Pink (and Teal) Shabbat services! Help us raise awareness about breast and ovarian cancer within the Jewish community. Learn about the increased risk in the Jewish community, how to determine your risk, be proactive about your health, and how we can support community members facing difficult circumstances.
We will be having a special speaker from Sharsheret. Sharsheret, the Hebrew word for chain, is the only national organization supporting Jewish individuals and families facing breast and ovarian cancer, those who are diagnosed and those at high risk.
