Counting our traditions, while counting the Omer

Tune in for an in-depth exploration of various Jewish rituals during the time of the Omer.

As we count the Omer, we consider which is the most important Jewish ritual. Each Wednesday at noon from April 20th to June 4th, join a collaboration of Rabbis from across the country on Zoom as they teach about fundamental Jewish rituals.

April 20 – Candle lighting: Rabbis Leah Berkowitz and Cookie Olshein

May 4 – Mikveh: Rabbi Simone Schicker and Rabbi-Cantor Raina Siroty
May 11 – Reading of Torah with Aliyah: Rabbis Courtney Berman and Paula Winnig
May 18 – Brit Milah (and welcoming rituals): Rabbis Jeff Goldwasser and Robert Haas
May 25 –  Observance of Yahrzeit: Rabbis Rebecca Dubowe and Estelle Mills
June 1 – Havdalah: Rabbis Emily Losben-Ostrov and Gidon Isaacs
