  Series of Zoom Learning Sessions with Rabbis from Small URJ Congregations
 \n\nWednesday nights beginning April 24th through Wednesday\, June 5th\, 8
 :00 - 8:30 pm ET\n\nJoin us for one week or all seven sessions. Registrati
 on is free.\n\nThe seven-week Omer period begins on the second night of Pa
 ssover and continues until\nthe eve of Shavuot. This year\, that is from t
 he evening of Tuesday\, April 23\, to the\nevening of Monday\, June 10. Du
 ring this period\, we count the days and weeks that lead us\nfrom the Fest
 ival of Our Freedom to the Festival of the Giving of the Torah.\nThere is 
 a mystical tradition of associating one of the seven lower sefirot (divine
 \nemanations) with each week of the Counting of the Omer. These are:\nches
 ed (loving kindness)\,\ngevurah (strength)\,\ntiferet (beauty/balance)\,\n
 netzach (endurance)\,\nhod (splendor/humility)\,\nyesod (foundation)\, and
 \nmalchut (sovereignty/presence).\n\nDuring our class each week\, a rabbi 
 (or a pair of rabbis) will present Jewish texts\, spiritual\npractices\, a
 nd ethical exercises that help participants learn about the meaning of the
 \nsefirot and how we integrate these teachings into our lives.\nJoin us fo
